    Jaden came to Mannes School of Music with considerable skill at playing the French horn and familiarity with the school’s legendary faculty. But he was surprised to discover a creative conservatory where experimentation—not just virtuosity—was encouraged. He has also found a community of Black musicians and other artists in whose company he is establishing his own unique voice as a performer and imagining new roles for artists today.
