Maria (MA International Affairs), Standhope (MA International Affairs), and Dalton (MS Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management) recently joined forces in the United Nations Summer Study program, offered by the Schools of Public Engagement at The New School. Reflecting the university's robust interdisciplinary research culture, the trio brought their broad expertise and varied backgrounds to the task of writing a report for the United Nations. The UN may turn their proposals for an equitable and sustainable global build-back into policy. The students' efforts have sparked real-world change and proved the value of practice-based learning.
