    Anne Gaines

    Profile

    Anne Gaines is an Associate Professor of Contemporary Art Practice in the School of Art, Media, and Technology.  Anne focuses her study on community centered opportunities for individual transformation through embodied art praxis. Anne is an early contributor to the development of the Parsons Scholars Program and has received grants from the Surdna Foundation, the Luce Charitable Trust, The New York Community Trust and the Coyne Family Foundation among others. Anne particpated in the design of community collective funded by the National Science Foundation led by researchers from the Center for Children and Technology and most recently is a collaborator on the project Building a Culture of Care funded by The New School Provost Office Investment fund.
